Two Hour Rice Lake Cruise

(leaving daily at 1:30 pm) Cruise around the beautiful drumlin islands of Rice Lake. Learn about the geology, natural, aboriginal history and settlement history of the area. Listen to stories of Catharine Parr Traill and Susannah Moodie, and their part in the settlement of the Kawarthas. You will see blue herons, osprey nesting sites, and the eagles along the waterway.

Three Hour Rice Lake Dinner Cruise

(leaving at 6:00 pm; 5:00 pm in September) Cruise dreamily around the islands and part way up the Otonabee River at sunset. Enjoy the stupendous view, the company of the other passengers and dinner on board.

Four Hour Otonabee River Cruise

(leaving at 10:00 am) Cruise the Otonabee River between Rice Lake and the Peterborough Lift Lock. Appreciate the variety of waterbirds and wildlife along the waterway. Learn the history of the Trent-Severn Waterway and the travels of Catharine Parr Traill. Cruise includes lunch on board and a visit to the Canadian Canoe Museum. Theatre-Boat Cruise-Luncheon Packages available with performances:

• Westben Theatre - Westben Arts Festival in Campbellford (curtain times 2:00 pm)
